ABOUT US

Based in the heart of Mitchelton, this true and traditional Queenslander workers cottage, has evolved to become a small family owned Aussie "our house is your house", friendly neighbourhood café.

​The much loved feature wall at the entry of the café was what sparked the idea to create an Australian themed cafe. On the inside walls, you will find quirky artwork designs from Queensland based artists,  family stitched pieces with one being over 30 years old and collections of memorabilia from road trips around Australia.

​The Jacaranda tree is a feature of our back deck, with local wildlife regularly visiting, including kookaburras, magpies, possums and water dragons.

​

Our front and back decks offer a place for family and friends to relax and chat, while enjoying great food that caters for gluten free and vegetarian, excellent coffee and friendly service.
